--- Warming up gets your heart rate up, wakes up your joints, and preps your muscles for strong, safe training. Let's get started. --- Start standing with light jogging in place. Stay light on your feet, keep your arms relaxed and your shoulders loose. Wake up your body and get your heart going. [Pause 15s] Keep jogging and begin making large arm circles forward. Open your shoulders, keep your arms long, and stay relaxed. [Pause 15s] Now turn the arm circles backward while continuing to jog. Nice and even, feel your shoulders opening up. [Pause 12s] Switch to jumping jacks. Land softly and control the movement. Get your circulation going, activate your whole body. [Pause 15s] --- You are ready for your workout. Start each exercise with a few light repetitions to optimally prepare your muscles and joints and prevent injuries. A good warmup improves oxygen flow, makes your movements smoother, and ensures you have more energy during training. Feel free to come back for your next warmup. ---
