Audio-Guided Skateboarding Warm-Ups
Skateboarding looks like it starts whenever you step on the board, but ankle sprains, wrist fractures, and hip bruising tell a different story about what happens when the body isn't ready for the falls and mechanics of the sport. We believe ankle preparation and hip mobility are the most critical investments a skater can make before a session — especially when trying tricks that require the lower body to absorb and redirect impact at speed. Our audio sessions cover ankle stability work, hip and knee mobility for crouched stances, wrist circles for the inevitable bail position, and a progressive board-feel primer that starts with stationary movements before any dynamic tricks.
Testers who skate street, park, or vert told us that ankle sprains felt less likely after starting with our sessions, and that they felt more confident dropping into steeper features in the first ten minutes.
One longboarder added that the hip mobility work made deep crouches more comfortable during fast downhill runs. The board responds to what the body can do — so preparing the body is the first trick.
