Laced Up Figure Ice Skating Warmup
Audio-Guided Ice Skating Warm-Ups
Ice skating — whether recreational, speed, or figure — demands ankle stability, hip flexor mobility, and the adductor strength that most people don't train off-ice. We believe that the cold rink environment makes a proper warm-up more important, not less, because the body loses temperature even when you're moving. Our audio sessions begin off-ice with thoracic rotation, adductor activation, ankle circles, and balance drills that transfer directly to stability on the blade. The session ends with a brief on-ice primer — slow strides and progressive speed — before any technical work.
Early users in figure skating and recreational hockey told us they noticed improved first-lap smoothness — the awkward initial phase where blade feel is inconsistent and edges don't bite right.
One adult skater returning to the ice after a decade off said our warm-up sessions made the relearning phase feel much shorter. The body found its ice memory faster when it arrived prepared. Preparation doesn't just protect you — it accelerates you.
