Ice Bathing
Audio-Guided Ice Bathing Warm-Ups
Deliberate cold exposure rewards those who prepare their nervous system before entering the water, not just those who can endure the cold. We believe the three minutes before an ice bath or cold water plunge are as important as the time you spend in it — and most people skip them entirely. Our audio sessions prepare the breathing pattern first: slow nasal breath cycles that activate the parasympathetic system and lower baseline heart rate before you step in. Then joint mobility and light movement to get blood circulating, so the cold hits a body that's loose and ready rather than stiff and reactive.
Testers who do regular ice baths as part of their recovery routine told us that using our pre-plunge audio changed the subjective experience significantly. The initial shock response was shorter, they felt more in control of their breath in the first thirty seconds, and the overall session felt more intentional.
Cold water exposure works — but it works better when you approach it prepared. The body goes into the cold; the mind decides how the body responds.
